Future Projects -

Update the file at plcommonwealth.org.
Make an under Letnik, Letnik, Podwika for my wife for Regional A&S (shelved, due to lack of good sources, but am currently working a translation).
Make more undershirts, in a more accurate manner.
Make more zupany for myself!
Make a Delia (Shelved, since I am going to make this as a version of a bigger Zupan and I don't expect any major difficulty).
Make a Giermak.
Make a Ferezia (1st pattern draft and test garment done. Shelved because I didn't like how the pattern draped and because I think the fabric wasn't right for the test).
Repair/tailor my current kontusz.
Write an article for SLOVO, probably on social customs as they relate to dress and behavior (researching).
Finish two zupany for Count Eduard of Atenveldt (In que).
A reproduction of the outfit that King Bathory is wearing in the Marcin Kober portrait - shoes, hat and all. Completely hand sewn.
A recreation of an early hussar outfit, like the ones on the painting of Orsza - Giermak, Magierka hat, etc. Make Giermak from my own pattern. This will also be part of an article on...
Early 1500's mens & womens fashion (like the one I just did for Slovo).
Learn how to make appropriate shoes/boots for men & women.
Translate the chapters in Historia Ubirow on 1500 & 1600 Polish Fashion (attempted, need better dictionaries).
Translate the 1500's chapter in Bartkiewiecz for Rick Orli.
Continue to figure out the correct elements in Women's dress.
Continue research into Polish folk tales (Underway, shelved due to lack of sources and access to same). For example, one source says that the Crow is often a hero in Polish folk tales. I have yet to find any where this is true, both online or through the books available from Amazon/Polart.
Continue research into period feasts/meals, both for the court and on campaign (Underway, shelved. I can make a few Polish dishes, plus krupnik, but haven't ran across anything better than "Food & Drink in Med. Poland").
